During my spring semester, I worked as a design engineer at Snap. It was a really cool role at the intersection of product, design, engineering which taught me how to rapidly prototype new features and ideas in a large and complex codebase. At the end of the internship, I was able to present a few of my prototypes and ideas to the design team and Evan Spiegal!
Created a prototype which let users long-press to scan items from music, Amazon products, etc and consolidated them in cards which the user could then tap to expand. Worked alongside designers to iterate on the UX and participated in user interviews.
Prototyped a Spotify Integration which let other users see what music you were listening to on the Snap Map.
